Shairoz (shy-rose) Lalani received her Bachelor of Business Administration
(Honours) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1990, and her
designation as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in 1991.
She enjoyed a successful career in accounting and climbed the "corporate
ladder" until December 1995. At that time, she gave up her
hectic, stressful career, and returned to school. It was always
Shairoz's dream to be able to help people and make a difference
in people's lives.
She attended the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in
Toronto, and received her licence as a Registered Massage Therapist
in 1997. She also received her diploma as a Certified Reflexologist
in 2000, and her Masters in Reiki in 2001.
Shairoz is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
(CMTO).
Shairoz practiced as an R.M.T. in a hospital and chiropractic environment
for the first four years, and subsequently opened her own clinic
in May of 2001 in Mississauga. In November 2005, she relocated to
Durham Region with her husband, Joshua. They now live
in Ajax with their "baby", a Yellow Labrador Retriever, named Eddie.
As a health care provider, Shairoz finds this line of work very
fulfilling, as she makes an impact on people's health and well being
every day. It is a pleasure for her to be able to relieve her client's
aches, pains, and stress levels. Shairoz's pressure can vary significantly
from light to deep, and she believes that relaxation is a very important
element in healing. Even when conducting a specific therapeutic
treatment, she aims to make the treatment as relaxing as possible
for the client.
Shairoz loves to read, especially self-help/personal development
books, and focuses on the Law of Attraction and the Power of
Intention. For recommended reading, please refer to the "Links"

About Shairoz's Logo
Shairoz's logo is based on an Egyptian hieroglyphic, which means,
"beget" or "renew". The vulture clears away
debris, and the sickle harvests the crop to make way for clean and
renewing life. This, applied to Shairoz's modalities, would be the
equivalent of the treatment clearing the toxins out of the person's
body, leaving the client feeling revitalized and "renewed".
